The "CONCERTO" is a music form written for one or many different soloist instruments and orchestra. When there is more than one soloist, a concerto is called "CONCERTO GROSSO".

This is a CONCERTO for one violin soloist and orchestra. The CONCERTO usually is written in three contrast movements, fast, slow, fast; sometimes is written with a first slow movement, then it has four movements.
